The Google Moderator Tool and the Lady Gaga

by Bon Francisco Talampas, Jr.March 26, 2011

Google Goes Gaga!

Google pays tribute to Lady Gaga and even titled her as Queen of Downloads. Lady Gaga or Stephanie Joanne Angelina Germanot in real name sits-in an hour-long interview with Google’s Vice president on consumer products Marissa Mayer.

According to Google, “Lady Gaga” is the most browsed name on the search engine since 2009 up to present. And her song Bad Romance registered 360 million views. She is really the Queen of Downloads achieving 20 million downloads for her singles alone, without the recorded albums.

The questions asked during the interview were selected from 54 thousands questions posted by fans on her YouTube page with the help of Google Moderator. The Google Moderator is a tool that allows distributed communities to submit and vote on questions for talks, presentations and event.

Answering questions passionately, Gaga manages to show up her natural sense of humor.

The interview ended showing her latest video Born this Way on which Gaga described as the depiction of her life.
