Next up, after my quick peek of the FB headquarters at Palo Alto, is Google at Mt. View – still in Silicon Valley. I didn’t make it all the way around the campus because it’s really big, it was pouring and cold then, and though it was Saturday (no visitors on weekend ), I still managed to photograph some of the coolest things — in the areas I was allowed to step on.

Between the buildings are awesome gardens, benches to sit on and even stone and marble sculptures. Most notably, I saw some huge icons at the entrance of one of the buildings at Charleston Road, of course there’s Android and a huge donut beside him, probably his snack ?. Unknowingly, I was about to go in front of them to take some close-up photos but hell nah, the security police mobile was too fast to stop me saying that I could only take photos outside the perimeter, meaning just along the street, poor BatangMangyan!

Welcome to GO-ogle! Behind me is the Google Street that goes straight to the main building @1600 Amphitheatre Parkway. How cool’s that, a Google Street inside the campus, awesome big G!

While going back to our car just right before the rain started to pour again (best friends waiting, thanks guys), I came across these little bikes, the coolest bikes I’ve ever seen, though I find nothing extraordinary but the colors…it’s really Google! Later I found out from a white dude I bumped in across Google Street that workers and even visitors use these bikes to go around the campus. And without asking for permission, I tried one of these GOOGLE BIKES! Really cool!

While leaving the Big G campus just right before exiting the main road, I saw this sign, the Google Maps sign. And I would admit, Google Maps brought us there! Really, you won’t get lost, thanks to Google Maps.

Yes, it was really an awesome experience to have a glimpse of this awesome place, but next time I should see what’s happening inside the Big G Campus (I should go on a guided tour during weekdays though). But for now, I’d say that Big G is really really BIG. —- BatangMangyan reports for Taragis.com!
