Got a chance to see this tab, Toshiba AT200, it’s really slim, thinner than iPad or any tablet in the market now. Though some reviews are not that good, still it’s worth a try, it has a 1.2 Ghz dual core processor backed by 1GB RAM and powered by Android Honeycomb 3.2. Toshiba AT200 is equipped with 5 megapixel rear camera that you can use in shooting 1080p HD videos, and a 2 megapixel front facing camera that can be used in video chat. Oops! note that this model only supports Wifi connection (no 3G version at all).
Toshiba AT200 is a sleek looking device, with brushed metal trimmings and a good range of connection ports, including a proprietary dock, microUSB and mini HDMI, plus a combi microphone/headphone 3.5mm jack
It’s really surprising, in spite of the hardware components which obviously higher than usual, it’s not running the latest 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android rather than 3.2 Honeycomb but it’s still a very capable OS that’s slick and easy to use. Toshiba says there will be an upgrade, but it hasn’t said when. Toshiba is also planning to release more tablet devices this year in a variety of screen sizes, and is even looking at different operating systems.
