Wanna be the first to own a Samsung Galaxy S III?
Guys, check this out! Amazon now takes US pre-orders for this new Android device which also gonna hit the store on June 1.
And for your 800 bucks, what you can have is the 16GB SIM-free international version of the S III or the GT-i9300 which comes in blue or white. It has a quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos processor with a huge 4.8-inch display, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, and Android 4.0 with tons of Samsung software goodies.
But in the US of course, mind you of some compromises to consider. Unlike many other Android phones available now, the Samsung Galaxy S III GT-i9300 does not have 4G LTE connections and it only works with AT&T’s HSPA+ network. While you can make calls on T-Mobile, it still lacks support for its 1700MHz band for you to be able to connect to a high-speed data. And worst, the phone doesn’t work on Verizon and Sprint.
Well, unless you guys don’t care about not having 4G LTE connectivity or wait for US carrier–customized versions of the phone either, and you’re all set to spend your $800, then this new Galaxy S III will be yours in just a couple of days. Well, the price seems comparable to an iPhone. You think so?
And for you guys out there in the Philippines, pre-orders starts today, May 23. You may check it out with the nearest Smart and Globe stores. Go!
