Still experiencing slowness in Facebook?  Yesterday, the Hacking group Anonymous posted the claim on Twitter that it was behind the incident. Anonymous tweeted Thursday night:  ”looks like Facebook is having packet problems.” 

‘RIP Facebook’ was on trending yesterday both in the US and worldwide. Users from the United States to Singapore reported being unable to access the website for almost three hours.

Facebook admitted the issue in an email statement, Mark Zuckerberg’s camp commented:

“Some users briefly experienced issues loading the site,”. “The issues have since been resolved and everyone should now have access to Facebook. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
