Guys, wanna see your desktop on a tablet? Yes, it’s possible now with Acer’s first two Windows 8 tablets – the Acer Iconia W510 and W700. Though processors are yet unknown for both, there’s no doubt that both tablets run Windows 8, the same full version of Windows 8 that runs on desktops and notebooks. Cool!

The W510 has a 10.1” IPS touchscreen display and comes with a keyboard where you can dock the tablet giving an extra battery life of 18 hours. It also comes with MicroSD, microUSB, and micro HDMI ports and an extra full-sized USB port on the keyboard dock.
On the other hand, the W700 has an 11.6” full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution touchscreen display. It comes with a docking stand that can work in landscape or portrait mode. It has a rear-facing 5 MP camera and a front-facing camera while audio is supplied by Dolby Home Theater. The tablet also has a micro HDMI port, three USB 3.0 ports, and a Thunderbolt port. Though, battery life is 8 hours shorter than W510.
Meanwhile, Acer has no information yet on the pricing and availability of these two awesome Windows 8-powered tablets. But am pretty sure that it will immediately follow after the release of Windows 8 come this 3rd quarter. And also, I guess that it’s not only gonna be Acer. So, stay tuned guys.
