Geeks, previously we reviewed the iBattz Mojo Removable Power Card Wallet, a portable recharger designed for power hunger gadget users. This time, it’s all about protecting your iPhone 4/4S from scratches while doubling up its power capacity.
BoostCase Hybrid is an ultra lightweight and thin stylish protective case that also doubles battery life for iPhone 4 and 4S. It’s been around for months and been using by many iPhone fanatics, there were also lots of good reviews and satisfaction ratings scattered all over the net. And we’d say, where the hell’s this product? Why we don’t have it? Haha, fortunately someone sent us two sets, a magenta and teal color. So, let’s just check out what’s good about this powerful chunky case.

First things first, I believe that fashion and function meet in this stylish boost case, though it doubles the weight and thickness of my iPhone, it couldn’t be overrun by the thought that am “colorfully” supercharged ahaha taragis!
I call it sets because this BoostCase composes two parts: a slim, form fitting protective case and a 2.2-ounce detachable add-on battery. The add-on battery attachment can be removed leaving an intact protective case which for me, looks really good and fits well in my hand, the rubberized feel provides perfect grip for my hand.

It adds up around 90% of additional power to my buddy iPhone and as I observed, it takes around an hour and a half to transfer all of the power from the add-on battery to the iPhone.
This BoostCase is smart enough to detect the iPhone 4′s battery status and has an option to toggle it off/on. The LED power indicator shows battery life status. The add-on battery can be charged alone and takes up to 3 hours to make it full or you can charge it and the iPhone battery at the same time.
Well, bottom line: it does really add some thickness and made my phone a little buff, but after using it for a few days and as I get used to it, I can definitely say that the trade-off is worth it.
