A story is sweeping through the web that Samsung paid Apple $1 Billion sending 30 trucks full of 5 cents. According to the report:

Initially, the security company that protects the facility said it was diverted to the wrong place, but minutes later, Tim Cook (Apple CEO) received a call from Samsung CEO explaining that they will pay $1 billion dollars for the fine recently ruled against the South Korean company in this way.”
The news of course is a hoax and you wouldn’t find it in any major giant tech news websites. While jury finds in favor of Apple and awarded US$1.05-billion in damages, Samsung is not taking this lying down, and already has plans for its appeal.
“We will move immediately to file post-verdict motions to overturn this decision in this court and if we are not successful, we will appeal this decision to the Court of Appeals,” said Samsung.

The funny part is that the signed document does not specify a single payment method, so Samsung is entitled to send him to the creators of the iPhone its billion dollars as they deem best.
