Samsung will show off its new Windows 8 hybrid tablet at the IFA 2012 trade show in Berlin. IFA is the world’s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. It takes place from 31 August to 5 September 2012 in Berlin.

The company’s Facebook page posted a photo of the new tablet labeled “Ready to be smart, IFA 2012, Berlin.” Samsung is also telling its Facebook followers “Don’t worry, it’s just around the corner…”
Powered by an Intel chip, the tablet will run Windows 8 Pro, 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel camera in front. Samsung put the battery life at around 10 hours and noted that the tablet is charged while docked.
The video shows a laptop-tablet hybrid along with what appears to be an S-Pen stylus, which has previously been featured in Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone and tablet.
Aside from Microsoft Surface tablet that will debut alongside Windows 8 on October 26, Lenovo has announced its first Windows 8 tablet, the ThinkPad Tablet 2. The 10.1-inch tablet measures 9.8mm thick with a weight of less than 600 grams (1.3 pounds).
