Though Apple hasn’t announced any plan of making the iPad Mini into reality, another leaked photos emerged in the internet. The rumored iPad Mini is thicker than the usual iPad and made of aluminum shell, though the leakage didn’t mention the actual size, presumably and based on the photos it’s in around the size of 7 inches.
The iPad’s small version might support Facetime if it will be based on the 2 cameras that are noticeably visible in the leaked photos. It also appears to have a smaller port, which is probably the same Lightning port on the just-announced iPhone 5.
As for the additional specs information, it’s not clear if it will have Retina display and if it will run an A6 which is now present in the new iPhone 5 or an A5 processor used by the iPhone 4S. A5 might be close to reality considering that Apple will reduce its price to match up with the current prices of Google’s Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire. Both tablets are available for less than $200.
Apple is expected to announce the device sometime in October. It should be available before the holidays. Pricing for the iPad Mini is believed to be in the range of $249 – $349. The new iPad starts at $499.
