Nokia has officially unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the Lumia 920. The new Lumia is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor with 1GB RAM, a 4.5-inch curved glass display, a 2,000mAh battery and the of course the new Windows Phone 8 operating system.
Nokia also introduces new breed of display called the Pure Motion HD+ and says that it’s the “best smartphone display innovation” the company has ever made and it’s even better than HD resolution and fast refresh rates.
Lumia 920 comes in a one-piece polycarbonated body and available in a variety of colors: yellow, red, white, grey, and black. Also, one of the newest technologies that Nokia adopted is the wireless charging built on the Qi wireless power standard- with Qi tech, you will be able to charge the Lumia 920 by simply placing it on a wireless charging mat.
Nokia is also integrating its “PureView” camera technology but reducing the 41MP of the original Pureview 808 to 8 megapixel and is capable of taking 1080 full HD videos. Nokia claims that Pureview is up to 50 percent more effective than many high-end digital cameras today.
