Hey geeks, today I just received a new iPad mini case. I got it online. It’s the Impact Snap Case with Cover, an Impactology product by Tech21. Price is £35 or around $50.
The iPad mini easily snaps into the case with a perfect fit which of course adds very little bulk.
The Impact Snap Case with Cover clips onto the back of the iPad mini. It uses a genuine leather front cover to protect the screen from scratches. Aside from the microfiber interior of its cover, it has the same feature that is present in the official Apple Smart Cover – the magnetic closure and sleep function.
The inner shell of the Impact Snap Case is constructed from polycarbonate that includes an innovative substance called D3O impact material that absorbs and then dissipates shock force away from your device when dropped. The orange linings are the responsible D3O dudes, making it more shock proof and impact resistant. I’m worry-free now, accidental drop would no longer hurt my mini buddy.
This impact case contains all the cut-outs for the ports and features of the iPad mini. You can also use the snap case as an iPad mini stand. The nicely made rubber grip or the small humps placed near the volume rocker are made to let it stand firmly with the flip cover.
This iPad case is snug and very form-fitting, but it’s easy to get on and off the mini. It fits tightly around the edges. The cover folds back completely flat because of the soft hinge.
The thing that impresses me most about this snap case is the professional look. The exterior leather cover gives a classy appearance, it adds up an excellent impression on a premium device.
