Guys, another Android smartphone is coming out, Alcatel might be launching in the coming days a new idol, the One Touch Idol Ultra. Unveiled during the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year, this device is considered as the world’s slimmest Android smartphone.

One Touch Idol Ultra is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 1GB RAM and runs of the latest Android Jelly Bean. It measures 6.45 mm, more than half a millimeter thinner than the iPhone 5. The device features a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display (1280 x 720p resolution) with an Oleophobic coating making its display fingerprint resistant.

Though no expandable memory card slot is available, a 16 GB storage capacity is large enough to accommodate large images and files. One Touch Idol Ultra got an 1800-mAh battery onboard.

For pricing and availability, stay tuned for the official launch of this new Idol from Alcatel which is scheduled this coming April 24. Alcatel Philippines is already sending out media invites.
