Cherry Mobile Blade or Razor could be the next quad core smartphone of CM. It will complete the Junetastic offering of CM joining Blaze 2.0, Thunder 2.0 and two tablets Fusion Wind and Fusion Wave, all under Php 10,000 price category.
At 7.7mm thick, Cherry Mobile Razor is almost as thin as iPhone 5 (7.6mm). It features a 4.5 inch IPS LCD screen which said to be powered by a quad core processor that ticks at 1.2Ghz clock. A 1GB RAM is also housed along with the 4GB internal storage which as usual can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Aside from its thickness, which should be its selling point, there’s also an 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel at front and a qHD resolution.
Cherry Mobile Razor first appeared in Thailand where CM is also dominating, in our recent TalkBack interview with the CM’s Product Manager, Mr. Alejandrino explains that CM will have to continue providing quality and best priced Smartphones to the local market as the Smartphone Market in the Philippines and in other parts of Asia still has room for growth.

Though official price and other details haven’t released yet by Cherry Mobile Philippines, speculations suggest that Cherry Mobile Razor’s price will be around
Php9,000 and if that tag materialized, it could hardly sell. With all those basic specs and 1750mAh battery performance, it’s obviously expensive. Smartphone users won’t trade high-end specs over thinness. Cherry Mobile will announce the price on June 29, 2013.
Update: Cherry Mobile announced the official price, it’s Php 6,499.
