Initially rolled out for Nexus devices, the update is available and can be downloaded from the Nexus Factory Image page. Those devices listed for the update include the Nexus 4, 5, 7, and 10.

What’s something new with this release is the Tizen OS, the Tizen operating system is based on the Linux kernel. The Linux kernel, and subsequently the Tizen operating system, are available for programmers to access and use for free to develop their own applications and other software. Samsung has previously launched smart watches, smart tellies and car dashboard systems that use Tizen.

Days after removing the phenomenal hit game Flappy Bird from the Apple App Store and Google Play, creator Dong Nguyen has finally given an explanation for his decision to kill the game: It was too addictive.
