You Can Now Use Facebook Stickers to Comments, Here’s How To Do It

The Facebook stickers, which were only previously available through Messenger, will now be available through comments on Timeline, Group and Event posts.

The engineer on the project, Bob Baldwin, shared his thoughts on stickers when announcing the news on his own FB timeline,

He wrote: “Stickers have been a delightful way to communicate in messages, and I’m happy to announce we’re bringing them to comments across Facebook. Just tap the smiley face icon in the bottom-right of any comment field to pick a sticker to send.

Facebook Buying Oculus Virtual Reality Company for $2 Billion

Facebook Inc., the world’s largest social network is set to acquire for $2 billion a two-year-old Oculus VR Inc, maker of virtual-reality glasses for gaming.  The acquisition is the company’s first-ever hardware deal in the fast-growing wearable devices arena.

Facebook News Feed New Algorithm for Pages

Facebook said that it will implement new formula behind News Feed. Facebook News feed will show fewer text-based status updates from Pages, but will serve more text-based status updates from users.

The update came out after a series of experimentation made by Facebook itself, according to Chris Turitzin, Product Manager, News Feed Ranking, Facebook learned through testing that, the more simple, text-only status updates people see, the more they share.
