Malacañang has disclosed that free WiFi will be available along EDSA starting June 12, 2017, Independence Day.

In a media release, the Presidential Communications Operations Office said the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), together with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), will launch “high-speed Internet services” for the whole stretch of EDSA next week in line with President Rodrigo Duterte’s promise.

BPI Not Hacked, Experiencing Internal Data Processing Error

Bank of the Philippine Islands BPI clients stormed social media platforms complaining that their BPI accounts reflects unauthorized transactions.

UPDATE AS OF 10:00PM JUNE 7, 2017.

BPI announced that they have rectified the mis-postings related to the internal systems problem and access to ATMs has also been restored.

One of our colleagues reported that Php 4,700 was debited to his account.

Meanwhile, the bank’s online banking service bpiexpressonline.com is temporarily unavailable.
