Xiaomi held its Mandarin event to show off their first few new products for this year, and alongside the Mi Note and the Mi Note Pro, the company also officially announced a new set top box to follow up the Mi Box, called the Mi Box Mini.
The Xiaomi Mi Box Mini is a tiny set top box that is about the same size as power adapter, the device comes with a quad core 1.3GHz processor, a 1GB RAM and a Mali-450 GPU.
The device is equipped with 4GB Flash memory and dual-band Wi-Fi, and outputs a 1080p signal along with support for Dolby DTS audio via HDMI.
With Mi Box Mini, you can view photos, play videos and music on your TV from your phone, tablet or PC. It can receive streaming content via Miracast, AirPlay and DLNA.
The Mi Box Mini comes with a Bluetooth remote and will be available at roughly $30 (199 Yuan) or around Php 1,400 in the Philippines.
