Samsung has just launched the Galaxy Note 8, conveying that it had finally moved on with the mistakes of last year’s exploding Note 7.
Featuring an all-screen design, Note 8 boasts a mega 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED screen. It is powered by an octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage plus a microSD card slot. The device features rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and an iris- and face-scanning technology.
Note 8 is equipped with two 12-megapixel cameras on the back, one with a telephoto-like two-times zoom and the other with a more traditional wide-angle lens. On the front side, it has 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f1.7 aperture.
It runs Android 7.7.1 Nougat – and will definitely be updated to an Android 8.0 Oreo once ready. And as its trademark, it comes with a new S-Pen that is more pressure-sensitive and has a finer tip than older versions.
As for the battery, which is a very crucial (as well all know), the Note 8 features a 3,300mAh battery, which you can recharge via the USB Type-C port.
